Reepham Festival is committed to ensuring a safe and well spirited event. At the centre of this is our commitment to a fair and productive alcohol policy which encourages responsible drinking.
We have an on-site Bar which will be operating a ‘Challenge 25’ policy, so if you are lucky enough to look under 25 please bring some ID and please don’t take offence if you are challenged. The staff are only doing their job. Just take it as a compliment.
We have a fair use policy for those that want to bring their own drinks onto the Festival Field. The main rule of thumb – you are only allowed to bring in enough drink for personal consumption.
Below is what we consider a maximum each person is allowed to bring onto the Festival Field.
- 4 x 500ml cans of full-strength beer (5 per cent alcohol or less), or
- 4 x 500ml cans of cider (5 per cent alcohol or less), or
- 1 x 2litre plastic bottle of cider or beer (5 per cent alcohol or less), or
- 1 x 2.25l carton of wine (13 per cent alcohol or less),
- 6 x 250ml cans pre-mixed spirits (6 per cent alcohol or less), these include cocktails and gin mixers, etc.
All drinks must be in unopened and in original manufacturers’ packaging, Homebrew DIY sample packs aren’t allowed, and you can’t tick off all of these options; it’s a 4 pack of beer or a plastic bottle of cider.
Personal consumption quotas are restricted to over 18s, please don’t embarrass us by telling us your 6 year old son is entitled to bring in a pack of beer. As part of our ‘Challenge 25’ policy you may be asked to present ID for anyone in your group that looks like they are under 25. Underage drinking will not be tolerated.
Glass is not permitted on the festival field so please don’t attempt to bring glass bottles, wine or beer glasses in to the arena.
There is no storage facility for excess alcohol so please make yourself aware of these limits prior to attending the event.
Failure to comply with these limits and abuse of gate staff regarding these regulations may result in denied entry or removal from the Festival.

Reepham Festival may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced or used including but not limited to: brochures, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, social media etc.
