RFestival 24 FAQs
RFestival 24 Answer: You can buy your tickets online Here or, for people local to Reepham, from Very Nice Things & More which is a gift shop in Reepham Station, Cawston Road, Reepham NR10 4LJ. Wherever you buy them, they’re £40 per person, with children’s tickets at just £1 each (up to age 16). Please remember that under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
RFestival 24 Answer: Yes if we have any left but we are expecting high advance ticket sales this year! Previous Festivals have sold out so if at all possible we suggest you buy them in advance. They’re just £40 per person for the whole weekend with Under 16’s tickets at just £1 each. Sunday venues are free to ticket holders or £12 on the door.
RFestival 24 Answer: Yes, absolutely, on Saturday in the field! We pride ourselves on being an affordable family event so by all means bring your own picnic to the field on Saturday. You can’t bring food and drink to the King’s Arms on Sunday but there will be affordable food and bar drinks.
RFestival 24 Answer: You can read the full policy here but essentially you can bring a limited amount of alcohol onto the field on Festival Saturday. This means you can bring a maximum of 4 cans or a single 2 litre plastic bottle of beer/cider, but NO GLASS PLEASE. See Terms and Conditions.
RFestival 24 Answer: We are running our own bar this year on Rookery Meadow on Festival Saturday, which we’re calling The Crowbar! It will serve beer, cider and wine and we will be charging around the equivalent to pub prices.
RFestival 24 Answer: We don’t offer a camping package ourselves, but there are a number of camping sites close to Reepham.
RFestival 24 Answer: Definitely not! The only thing that might stop us would be where there’s danger to life – so extreme weather or disasters like an earthquake! This is our 15th year, so we know what we are doing…
RFestival 24 Answer: We have 2 stages in Rookery Meadow – one at each end of the field – on Saturday 10 August, allowing us to have continuous music from midday to around 9.30pm. We then move to the King’s Arms in Reepham Market Place on Sunday 11 August. Tickets required for all venues/stages. Your R23 ticket covers entry on both days. Tickets for Sunday only can be bought at the door for £12 each.
RFestival 24 Answer: We have never had trouble in the 16 years we’ve been running Reepham Festival and it’s a family event so the atmosphere is always friendly and fun. However, we do have a security team on site who will quickly clamp down on any potential problems. We have a strict no drugs policy too. We also have first-aiders on hand in case of any accidents. The Festival Team will all be wearing hi-vis vests so you know who to talk to if you have any concerns.
RFestival 24 Answer: Yes, we welcome children and a child’s ticket is just £1 (for those up to the age of 16). You can buy up to three U16 tickets per adults ticket. We do recommend ear defenders, particularly for younger children. Please make sure your children are supervised at all times.
RFestival 24 Answer: No, we’re sorry but we just can’t accept dogs on the RFest24 Festival Field, although we understand well-behaved may be allowed outside at our Sunday venue. Please don’t leave dogs in your cars when you park.
RFestival 24 Answer: Some of our stalls may only take cash so it’s not a bad idea to bring some with you. We will have a card reader at the bar and we are planning to have a card reader on the gate, but we all know how technology can throw a spanner in the works sometimes! If necessary, you may be able to get cash from our Post Office on Saturday and Sunday morning or from the ATM outside the Spar shop in Ollands Road.
RFestival 24 Answer: The mobile signal in Reepham is somewhat unreliable so we suggest you either download your tickets to your phone or print them off and bring them. If you don’t have a valid ticket, you’ll be asked to pay again at the gate.
RFestival 24 Answer: I’m afraid you must have a wristband or valid unused ticket to get in on Sunday, or you will be asked to pay on the door. The good news is that we are looking at more robust wristbands this year that will better survive showering etc.
RFestival 24 Answer: If you have a valid QR coded ticket, you will be admitted, but we must stress that we are aware of many scammers trying to sell fake tickets to events, including RFest24. Our best advice is to buy your ticket direct from us. If you have a fake ticket, it won’t check in properly at the gate. If that happens, you will have to pay again to get in.
